At Pa Kua, every birthday party is a mini adventure. Kids get hands-on with real martial art, archery, or acrobatics led by our instructors, in a fun, non-competitive space built for every skill level. No two Pa Kua parties look the same, because we build each one around the birthday kid’s interests.
Our studio is set up for exactly this kind of celebration: open floor space, real equipment, and instructors who know how to keep a room full of kids engaged, safe, and having fun.

- 2 hours total — 1 hour of instructor-led activity, 1 hour for cake & gifts

Questions Parents Often Ask
What ages is this suited for?
Our birthday parties work well for kids roughly 4–12; let us know your group’s ages and we’ll tailor the activities.
Can parents stay and watch?
Yes — we have a viewing area for parents and family.
What should kids wear?
Comfortable clothing they can move in; bare feet or grippy socks (no outdoor shoes on the mats).
Is the archery/weapons equipment safe for kids?
Yes — we use training equipment designed for kids, not real blades or hunting-grade bows, and every activity is closely supervised by our instructors from start to finish.
Do kids need any prior experience?
Not at all — every party is built for total beginners, and we adjust the pace so kids of different skill levels can join in together.
How far in advance should we book?
We recommend booking at least 2–3 weeks ahead, especially for weekend dates.
What happens if fewer or more kids show up than expected?
No problem — just let us know your final headcount a few days before the party. Additional kids beyond your package can join for +$15 each.
Can we bring decorations, a piñata, or our own entertainment?
Yes — feel free to bring decorations for the cake table. For safety, we ask that anything involving hitting or swinging (like a piñata) be cleared with us first so it doesn’t interfere with the activity space.
Do you accommodate food allergies or dietary restrictions?
Since parents bring the food, drinks, and cake, you’re in full control of that.
What if there are kids who are shy or doesn’t want to participate?
That’s completely normal — our instructors are experienced at gently drawing kids in at their own pace, and no one is ever forced to participate.
Can we combine two themes for one party?
Talk to us — we can often mix elements from two themes to fit your kid’s interests.
