Following years of research, development, preparation and practice, the Pa-Kua International League has begun offering classes in the art of Chinese Archery. This brought back an ancient art, by combining the Pa-Kua knowledge with the art of shooting arrows.
The Pa-Kua International League has fulfilled a historic role in reviving this knowledge, becoming possibly the only school to, not only keep alive the traditions and techniques of Chinese Archery, but teaching them all over the world.
The arrow is definitely one of the most appreciated studies within the Pa-Kua disciplines. Archery combines the efficiency of combat with the path to self-knowledge. It allows through its practice to master the body and mind.
Some consider the bow to be a weapon superior even to the sword as it allows for attacks at a distance, but in reality, that is a decision that should be left to the warrior himself. There is no doubt however, that both the bow and the sword are weapons that have shaped mankind, especially when used together. Their combined use can be noted in some of the most decisive battles of history, when warriors started their attacks at a distance, by using bows and arrows, then the sword at close range.
