Q: What do I wear for classes?

A: Our uniform is the best outfit for classes, and you will receive your uniform, included in your registration fee, when you sign up for a membership with us! If you are attending a trial class, we have spare uniforms that you can borrow. As an alternative, we recommend wearing comfortable exercise clothing that will not restrict your movement, such as a t-shirt, sweatpants, or leggings.

Q: What types of classes are offered?

A: We offer Archery, Edged Weapons, Martial Art, Yoga, Acrobatics, Chi, Pa-Kua Rhythm. Check out our website to view our class schedule and register for a trial class.

Q: Is there an age limit for students?

A: We offer classes for children as well as classes for adults.

Q: Are archery classes safe?

A: Before students learn to shoot, we extensively cover safety rules and how to handle the equipment to minimize risks to class participants. Our students’ safety is always our top priority.

Students must respect the shooting line, which should never be crossed to retrieve arrows or for other purposes, unless explicitly allowed by the instructor. Students should also remain focused on their equipment at all times to avoid the risk of misfires and other accidents. To ensure participant safety, we regularly review the safety rules, keep classes smaller, and always have a trained instructor supervising.

Q: Can families do acrobatics classes?

A: Yes, we love seeing families and couples come to our acrobatics classes. Acrobatics works for people of all ages, shapes, and sizes. There are different positions, either base or top/flyer, which work well for families. The bonus of training as a family, is that you can easily practice at home. For families with small children, we typically incorporate children from around age 4.

Q: Do you offer trial classes?

A: Yes, you can register for a week of trial classes and try multiple disciplines. We generally recommend focusing on one or two core classes when you’re getting started.

Q: What can I expect in the classes?

A: We have a few articles covering the basics of archery, martial art, and acrobatics.
